What is Cosmillion?

Cosmillion is a free browser word game built around naming an answer that fits a category. Its original daily launch presents seven prompts with 25 seconds each, and rarer answers provide more lift. You type a word or phrase rather than pick a date or choose a multiple-choice option.

Orbit is the independent Cosmillion-style game in the Krillion Unlimited collection. This guide explains the Krillion version: its own edited answer bank, original floating observatories, upright exploration capsule, music, saved flights and separate leaderboards. Krillion is not the official Cosmillion service. The original site is linked below.

Why play Cosmillion-style Orbit on Krillion?

Try Orbit when you want a short daily challenge that can turn into a longer session. The current Daily collection contains 210 prompts arranged as thirty sets of seven, with no repeated prompt inside a cycle. Unlimited continues through a shuffled 528-prompt collection that includes the Daily pool, so you can keep playing after today’s seven signals.

The world rises with your score. Your capsule lifts past floating observatory buildings, hanging gardens and lunar spires while different cloud and architecture layers move below it. The scenery is an original Krillion setting, and the soundtrack continues across the climb. Your shared Krillion identity keeps the game connected to Journey, Noillirk and the main game while the scores stay on separate boards.

How to play your first Daily flight

Open the free Daily page and select Begin Today’s Ascent. There is a brief preparation moment before the 25-second answer window. Read the entire prompt, touch the answer box and type one fitting example. Select Send, or press Enter on a keyboard.

A recognized answer ends the question and saves its points. The field note disappears while the capsule charges and rises, then returns with your answer, rarity tier and score. Select Next Signal when you are ready; the next question does not start during the feedback screen.

If an answer is outside the reviewed list, you can try again while the same clock runs. Changing your spelling does not restart the timer. Pass records zero and moves to feedback; an expired timer also records zero. The game forgives one unambiguous spelling edit for an approved word of at least five characters, but not every synonym or short typo can be recognized.

Complete all seven prompts to see your total out of 700. The results include your saved answers, a flight log link, rankings and a way to continue into Unlimited. Practice Again lets you replay without replacing the official ranked result.

How rarity points and altitude work

An answer must fit the actual category and appear in the reviewed answer bank. Being unusual is not enough by itself. Each prompt has 40 approved canonical answers, with accepted aliases mapping to the same canonical answer and points.

For example, the percussion-instrument prompt recognizes both Drum and Teponaztli. In this bank, Drum earns 10 and Teponaztli earns 100. That is an editorial scoring example, not a prediction of how many players will type either word. Pick a less obvious answer you know confidently rather than an unfamiliar word chosen only for its rarity.

Orbit uses the six Krillion tiers below. They are fixed editorial categories, not live response percentages. The visual altitude adds ten metres for each point, so a perfect Daily score of 700 corresponds to 7,000 metres in the game. Points determine the ranking; the illustration is your reward for them.

Daily or Unlimited: choose your next flight

Free Daily gives everyone the same seven scheduled prompts for that Beijing date. A 30-day cycle contains 210 distinct prompts, then the schedule repeats. Your first official completed Daily is the ranked attempt; a practice replay does not improve or erase it.

Cosmillion-style Unlimited on Krillion has no daily stop and no lives to lose. It shuffles 528 prompts without repeating one inside a lap. When the collection is exhausted, a new shuffled lap begins, avoiding an immediate repeat of the previous lap’s final prompt. Unlimited means continuous play through this collection, rather than infinitely many unique questions.

Every completed Unlimited prompt saves progress, including the first. You can finish from a feedback screen and keep the score, or return to an unfinished flight later. The leaderboard uses your best official flight rather than adding several flights together.

Playing comfortably on a phone

The answer field and Send control sit in the bottom field note, leaving the sky visible above. On a phone the keyboard opens when you touch the field. After submission it closes so the full ascent can be seen. Feedback waits for your Next Signal tap, giving you time to read at your own pace.

Sound is optional. Use the sound button in the top bar or adjust the volume in the menu. The original Observatory Signal score is one continuous loop; a scenery change does not start a new track. Opening the menu, reading Help or putting the browser in the background pauses an active question. Returning resumes its remaining time.

If a connection warning appears, use Retry Sync to reconcile the saved question before continuing. Refreshing an unpaused question keeps its existing deadline. Keep your guest browser storage, or link your Krillion account if you want to return from another signed-in device.

Save a flight, compare a score, try another game

The flight log lists your latest 50 flights, including practice and unfinished progress. Open a flight to review its saved answers; long Unlimited logs can load earlier answers. A guest record belongs to that browser identity. A linked Krillion account provides access to its owned server records on another signed-in device.

Open Orbit Rankings to compare Daily or Unlimited, then choose Today or All Time. These are separate from Journey, Noillirk and the main Krillion boards. If you want to switch from naming rare examples to guessing historical years, try Eraly-style Journey. For the original rare-answer experience, return to the main Krillion Unlimited game.

Questions about Cosmillion on Krillion

What is Cosmillion on Krillion?

Orbit is Krillion’s independent Cosmillion-style rare-answer word game. Name one thing that fits a prompt and lift through original floating observatories. It uses its own edited answer bank, artwork, music, records and rankings.

Is Cosmillion Free Daily and Unlimited free on Krillion?

Yes. Daily has seven shared prompts with 25 seconds each. Unlimited continues through 528 original prompts with no daily play limit. Both are free in a browser on phones and computers.

When does the Daily game update?

At midnight in Beijing, UTC+8. The current schedule has 210 prompts in thirty sets of seven, with no repeated prompt in a 30-day cycle. The schedule repeats afterward. An already-started flight keeps its original date.

How do points and altitude work?

Recognized answers earn 10, 15, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points according to reviewed editorial rarity. The tiers are not live population statistics. Passing and timeouts save zero. One point adds ten metres to the visual altitude.

How do the leaderboards work?

Daily ranks your first official completed seven-prompt flight. Unlimited saves after every completed prompt, including the first, and ranks your best official flight. Daily and Unlimited have separate Today and All Time boards. Practice is excluded.

Will my flight be saved on mobile?

Completed prompts and scores are saved on the server under your Krillion guest identity or linked account. Keep the same guest browser, or sign in to the linked account on another device. Menus and backgrounding pause the active question; refreshing an unpaused question keeps its deadline.
